Therme Wood-Fired Sauna

Set by the River Esk and folded into the gardens, our Therme wood-fired sauna feels like it has always belonged. Inside, 4–6 guests can settle onto smooth benches, soft LED mood lighting 

It’s restorative after a day in Edinburgh, easy on post-golf muscles, and perfectly unhurried before Orangery suppers. Many guests pair a warm session with fresh air on the terrace, then close the evening with a starlit soak in the hydrotherapy hot tub spa.

Kiln-dried logs are provided, along with a wooden pail and ladle, thermometer, and plush spa towels and robes; our team can guide you on best practice for a beautifully soft löyly. If you prefer everything ready on your return, concierge can arrange a pre-light and turn-down, subject to availability.
